Diana is a certified Hatha yoga teacher. As an engineer and former nationally ranked athlete, she combines the qualities of commitment, organization and responsibility with creativity and compassion. Central to her teaching is her awareness of proper posture and alignment.


Her interest in yoga began when Diana was in her early 20’s and recuperating from a serious diving accident. It was during her recuperation that she sought to develop an understanding of yoga that was beyond the physical practice. And so it was, that, Diana delved further into her practice and found solace from difficult personal challenges. In yoga, she found the means to rise above those challenges with clarity and strength in body and mind.


Diana believes that yoga is an art, where harmony and integration of body, mind, and spirit creates the beauty of the individual, perfect in its imperfection. Yoga is a means of worshipping the Self. In creating a greater love and awareness of one’s Self we can, by extension, create more caring and peaceful communities.


Diana’s students will tell you that her instruction is mindful as well as fun and that it comes, not only from her heart, but her life’s experiences, too.
