YOGA, says Mahadev Desai in the Gita according to Gandhi, ‘ the yoking of all the powers of the body, mind and soul to God; it means the disciplining of the intellect, the mind, the emotions, the which that Yoga presupposes; it means a poise of the soul which enables one to look at life in all its aspect evenly.’
Yoga derives from the Sanskrit root yuj, meaning to bind, join, union, coordination, integration. Yoga is connected to the English term yoke, as in yoking a horse to a chariot.

Specifically yoga is defined as “union”, a state of oneness with the divine as our own inmost self. It is a means of reunification with the higher awareness that is our true origin, goal and deepest nature.

Yoga helps us to reach balance within body, mind, soul and spirit, searching for the beauty equilibrium and alignment between flexibility and strength. Not only in a superficial physical level but inwards.
The basic principal of yoga fits in everyday life routine, brining us to the ease flow of fully life lived in the stillness of the present moment.
Yoga workout doesn’t require expensive wear or equipment, just a comfortable clothing, a mat that suits your needs and your disposition of exploring the greatest of your own essence is all do you need to walk into your own yoga journey.
Medical researches had provided important evidence of yoga practice uncountable benefits in different health conditions, which we can divide into three groups for an easy understanding, as Yoga postures called Asanas, Breathing known as Pranayama and Meditation. 

Despite the scientific documentation support about yoga benefits, we constantly heard (and I personally experience it with my own self) how yoga had made a difference in their live, could be physical by practicing an specific yoga routine, maybe even a little bit more deeper to a mindful awareness of a mind, body connection and even then moving to a higher spiritual level for an exploration of our inner strength, inner true.
